Text Box: Exhaust silencers can be delivered in a standard execution (Hu-tec Engineering type NCS, NAS en NRS) as well as tailor made. In case of strict noise level and/or limited dimensions, it is often not possible to work with a standard silencer. Text Box: NCS type silencers are combined reactive and absorptive silencers with a high attenuation, approx. 40 dB (A), across the entire frequency range, in combination with limited dimensions. This silencer is optionally available with an integrated spark arrester. The silencers can be mounted in both horizontal and vertical way. Recommended gas velocity max. 60 m/s, maximum temperature 600 °C.

The large variety of installations with specific sound requirements and often restricted available space makes the use of standard silencers impossible. Therefore special silencers are engineered to meet these sound requirements and to be able to fit in the available space.
Text Box: Type NRS silencers are reactive silencers and are in general used for attenuation in the lower frequencies, mainly in combination with the NAS type. This silencer is optionally available with an integrated spark arrester.

Type NAS residential/critical silencers are absorptive silencers and are in general used for attenuation (approx. 30 dB (A)) in the middle and higher frequencies.

The silencers can be mounted in both horizontal and vertical way. Recommended gas speed max. 60 m/s, maximum temperature 600 °C.
